Progress notes that are finished before the drive home
Support workers write the note on the shift they just worked, with the plan goals in front of them. Coordinators get readable notes on time instead of a backlog at the end of the month.
- Written against the shift, participant and worker
- AI draft is edited and saved by the worker
- Notes stay in the participant's record and timeline
Tied to the shift, not to memory
A note is written from the shift it belongs to, so the date, the participant and the worker are attached before anything is typed.
Drafted in plain English
Daniel AI can turn a few rough lines into a readable note. The draft sits in the editor for the worker to change.
A person always saves it
There is no auto-file. The worker edits the wording and presses save, and that saved note is what the record shows.
One running history per participant
Notes collect against the participant, so a coordinator reading back over a month sees the supports in order.
Demo data
Worker writes
"Hoy acompañé a Jordan al supermercado y practicamos pagar con tarjeta."
Daniel AI draft · English
Today I supported Jordan at the supermarket and we practised paying by card.
Reviewed and saved by the worker — never saved automatically
The rule we will not break
An AI-written note about a person's support is not evidence until a worker signs off on it. In NDIS Management App the assistant drafts, the worker decides, and only the saved version becomes part of the participant's record. That is the whole design, not a setting you might switch off.
Progress notes are one part of a provider's record keeping. Whether your notes meet your own obligations stays your organisation's responsibility, and we do not audit or certify them.
Questions providers ask us
Does the AI write the note for the worker?
It produces a draft from what the worker enters. The worker is expected to correct the wording, and only their saved version is stored. Unsaved AI text never becomes part of a participant's record.
Can notes be written after the shift instead of during it?
Yes. Notes are linked to the shift, so they can be completed later the same day. They still file against the correct shift date and worker.
Who can read a progress note?
Provider staff who support that participant, plus coordinators and managers in your workspace. Notes are not shared with other providers, and participants and families do not have a login.
Can we take our notes with us if we leave?
Yes. Participant records and notes can be exported from your workspace. You keep your provider's data; the platform is the system that holds it while you use it.
